Racism Defined
Racism is any action or attitude, conscious or unconscious, that subordinates an individual or group based on skin colour or race. It can be enacted individually or institutionally (Source: US Civil Rights Commission). In any discussion on race relations it is important that all of us know the meaning and definition of terms used. CURE encourages the public to examine the definitions, so that they can understand the significance of the words in their own lives.
